  1. I love the way the presenter makes its all sound great… bullshit – the lack of diversity and narrow-minded humans WILL see our death sooner than later. Bio-diversity creates natural barriers. Some humans are like kids, thinking they can eat what they want when they want with no consequence…ok…let's see.

  2. Can someone explain what “selective breeding” means? How does planting them any different change what they become? How do you breed a fruit? How did our ancestors do it? I dont get it

  3. Even in the late 60s and 70s fruit was so much sweeter. Watermelons were oblong, sweeter, and had seeds. The price of fruit has gone up and quality has gone down.

  4. Wild strawberries still exist in eastern european forests.. they grow in small bushes, near trees… they are harvestable around mid July to early August. Small, but sweet as a spoon of pure sugar

  5. Actually bananas have one big seed on the tip of the fruit. If people planted that one big seed instead of cloning bananas then they would be less susceptible to disease.

  6. I would bet that the fruits and vegetables before the manipulation were higher in protein which is why now they are quite sweeter with the selective harvesting. I personally would sacrifice the sweet and juicy taste for fruit with higher protein.
